District 7 is made up of 13 counties in central North Carolina. 

She will compete later this year for North Carolina Teacher Assistant of the year.
She has always represented teacher assistants and Catawba County Schools in a very professional way. 
Her dedication to the students, family, Teacher Assistants, school staff and administration is unbelievable.

The grim budget cuts can never and will never strip us of who we have become to our children here in this county! Their faces light up every morning because they know we truly care about them as humans and about their education. It will not be us who sells them short! Let us, against all diversity, bring to our children in Catawba County an excitement for education like never before. All children are capable of learning. With us by their side, they will achieve that! Never lose hope that you are making a difference in their lives!
