Mr. Westmoreland graduated with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Lenoir-Rhyne University, and played offensive and defensive tackle for the Bears. He received his Master’s in school administration from Appalachian State University.
He attended Fred T. Foard High School and married his high school sweetheart, Lauren. Mr. Westmoreland has four children: Lincoln (ten), Charlotte (eight), Tucker (six), and Harper (two). He taught kindergarten, fifth, and sixth grades at Claremont Elementary, served as assistant principal and athletic director at Bandys High School, and served as principal of Sherrills Ford Elementary. This will begin his second year at Fred T. Foard.
Hobbies: Spending time with family, following Lenoir-Rhyne athletics, fishing, and conducting small construction projects at home.
Mr. Shreitah graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a concentration in History Education from North Carolina State University. He received his Master’s degree in school administration from Gardner-Webb University. After graduation he taught for seven years as an exceptional children's teacher at Foard. While teaching he coached football, basketball, baseball, and golf for the Tigers! Shreitah is in his third year as an assistant principal at Foard, and second year as athletic director.
He graduated from Fred T. Foard High School in 2004. He is married to his wife Margaret who is an athletic trainer at Lenoir-Rhyne University. They have one dog named MJ. In his free time he enjoys watching sports and cheering for N.C. State and the Dallas Cowboys, playing golf, going to the beach, hanging out at the lake, and spending time with family. As a graduate of Foard Shreitah feels it is an honor to work and serve in the Foard community.

Mrs. Pitts graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Political Science for the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She began her teaching career as a lateral entry teacher in 2002 and became certified through the regional licensing center. She received her Master’s in school administration from Gardner Webb University.
She attended Fred T. Foard High School and married her high school sweetheart, Jeff. Mrs. Pitts has two children: Zach (twenty-five) and Ben (21) who also graduated from Foard. She taught eighth grade at Liberty Middle School in Burke county 2002- 2004 and taught seventh and eighth grade at Jacobs Fork Middle (2004- 2016). This is Mrs. Pitts’ first year as serving as assistant principal at Fred T. Foard.
Hobbies: Spending time with family, playing tennis, reading, and traveling.
