A healthly student learns better than an unhealthy student. It is important for children to be seen by a doctor and a dentist. If your child does not have insurance there are programs such as Medicaid and NCHC for parents to apply for. If you are in need of assistance with applying to either of these programs please call your child's school nurse or call Catawba County DSS. Also if you are in need of the name of a doctor or dentist in your area please contact your child's school nurse.
