Catawba County Schools Character Education Recognition Program for Students

 What is a Shining Star?

The Shining Star Recognition program is a unique and wonderful way to recognize young people in Catawba County Schools who exemplify character by going above and beyond what is expected. A Shining Star is a student who displays random acts of good character in and/or out of school. These acts are based on the Character Education concepts adopted by the Catawba County Board of Education and are listed on this page.
