Catawba County Schools and Newton-Conover City Schools combine resources to offer preschool services to children ages 3 to 5 years old who are identified as having a disability.  Our program serves children in a variety of settings including inclusive and self-contained classrooms and through itinerant services at various locations.  Our preschool transition specialist works with parents and school staff to facilitate a smooth transition for students with disabilities from preschool to school-age services.  We have a psychologist and an educational diagnostician as part of our team who are responsible for evaluations of our 3 to 5 year old population.
