 High School Scholars Academy

Catawba County Schools has worked in conjunction with Lenoir-Rhyne University since 2007 to offer an innovative program to academically-motivated and advanced high school seniors. Qualified applicants spend their senior year on campus at L-R, taking up to 18 hours of college classes while enrolled in English IV Honors and AP English Literature. HSSA offers students the opportunity to experience both the intellectual rigor of college-level coursework and the invaluable experience of attending class on an actual college campus.
