Students observe candle burning and going out under a jar.

1.       Place small votive candle on a small saucer with approx. 1/2 cup of water in saucer.

2.       Light candle.

3.       Place large mouth jar over lit candle, placing penny under jar's edge.

4.       Observe as light slowly goes out.

5.       Repeat several times.
